I'm passionate about movement of all kinds. I've a background in dance and was introduced to yoga in a Toronto acting class. After taking Vinyasa and Hatha yoga classes over the years, I discovered traditional Ashtanga yoga and it's now my primary practice and what I love to teach.
Along my yoga journey, I've found deep healing from anxiety, depression and disordered eating. I strongly believe in the transformative power of yoga through the mind/body connection and the joy of coming fully into the present moment, and hope to bring yoga to all.
I'm grateful to have been trained at the Yoga Center of Minneapolis teacher training program in 2014. In 2015, I became certified to teach Super Stretch kid’s yoga. I've had the honor to have studied Ashtanga with Kino MacGregor, Tim Feldman, Mark Robberds, Angela Jamison, Richard Freeman, David Swenson and Manju Jois. I'm thankful for my many teachers including Noah Mazé, Sydney Holly, Seane Corn, Baron Baptiste, Eric Schiffman, Rodney Yee, Lynn Thomasberg, Margaret Truesdell Hall, Elise Radtke-Rosen, Moya McGinn Matthews, Jennifer Grey and Ted Roseen.
In my spare time, I enjoy being a mom to 2 kids, hiking, photography and writing for Minnesota Yoga + Life Magazine.
