I am a 54-year-young artist with a raging passion for yoga, skydiving, painting, aerial arts, gardening, and bass guitar. I currently live in Minneapolis with my hubby of 27 years and my two practically grown up kids. Before Covid, I was a substitute teacher in the area elementary schools, a job that brought me great joy through daily contact with the younger generations.
I have been a professional artist for over 30 years, creating and selling colorful and happy paintings that reflect my joy in the world around me. For some crazy reason I love being upside down, so I adore aerial arts, especially the trapeze, both static and flying. Don’t even get me started on skydiving; I could talk for hours about how it feels and why I love it so, or why, after over 1600 jumps, I still have so much to learn about it.
Throughout my life I have thrown myself into everything with gusto and fierce concentration; this is the same with yoga. Though new to teaching, I have embraced yoga for over 20 years, and I really look forward to bringing the wisdom of my years to my classes.
My dream/plan, which is coming closer every day, is to move back to Vermont (I grew up in Maine and Vermont) and open a retreat on a remote mountain top. Here my friends and guests will be able to nourish themselves with nature, yoga, art, and more. Stay tuned!
